What is a Mobitrac?
The Mobitrac is an amphibious machine, engineered to be versatile on land, water, Eco-sensitive waterways and wetlands. Mobitrac machines are maneuverable and its unique weight distribution design makes it possible to carry various weights on land and water. With an array of attachment tools for aquatic cutting, collecting, excavating, and dredging- the Mobitrac is equipped to do it all!
Mobitracs have helped keep the shores of Chautauqua Lake clean since 2019. Currently, there are 5 Mobitracs operating on the lake. The goal is to improve the environmental and economic health of the lake.

How is the Mobitrac program funded?
The Town of Chautauqua is able to operate the mobitracs thru a grant with the Chautauqua Lake Watershed Management Alliance.
