We are a Town and Lake resort community in Chautauqua County, NY. The Town is named after Chautauqua Lake. We are the home of Chautauqua Institution and the birthplace of the Chautauqua Movement.
Our offices are located in the Chautauqua Municipal Building, formally known as Mayville Central School, which is located at 2 Academy Street Mayville, NY 14757.
